MATSYA AVATAR
Matsya is the half fish, a half-human avatar of Vishnu. Matsya Avatar of Vishnu is depicted as a four-armed figure with the top half of a man and the bottom half of a fish. According to Matsya Puran, Matsya tells Manu about the great flood and helps him save all the living beings, the Vedas, and the seeds of all plants. Once Manu was washing his hands in a river. A little fish swam into his hands and asked him to save its life. Manu put the fish in a jar, but it soon outgrew the jar. He then moved it to a larger water body, but the fish outgrew that, too. No matter where Manu put the fish, it kept growing bigger and bigger. The fish then revealed itself to be Lord Vishnu as a Matsya Avatara. The first avatar of Vishnu told Manu that a great flood was coming that would destroy all life on Earth. He helped Manu to save all the plants and animals he could find.

SASHI'S VIEW
Let's begin our story from 6th manvantara coming to the end. The chakshusha manvantara is about to end, the 7 wise men had told the king Vaivasvata that earthquake and floods will end this Manvantara. To escape the calamity let's have a big boat, and a fish which lives in a Shallow water. When the land will be flooded the fish will take us to the Shallow water body the land will expose as the water reside from that place. King followed there suggestion. Many rich people also follow the same suggestion. King caught the Fish in the oxus river ( Ammu Dharia ) he is sure the fish will not guide to deep sea oceans, but guide to Shallow water body. Soon they observed earthquake and Water rising in the wells, water and water day by day, in the meantime the boats are getting ready. The day had come, important delegates are getting into their boats, the fish is hooked to a smaller boat, and big boat will follow smaller boats. With the rise of water the fish is moving swiftly, the small boat is following the fish, and simultaneously the big boat is following the small boat. Flood water is Gushing down but the fish took a turn and boat men are rowing towards fish direction with great difficulty. At last they moved to a place where water is slowly rising but away from the mainstream of flood effected area. Few days more the water level is rising but not at alarming way, one fine day the water level is dropping, the fish come to the surface and everyone thanked it with an applause. The fish was let free. The next day people in the boat observed that they are surrounded by mountains, few day passed they are on the Shore of the water body. Few got down to look at the place after finding the place safe enough everyone got down off the boat.
They prayed to the God and applause each other that fish is none other than our God great Vishnu.
